Our story

1994 – Creation of Laboratoire BF International, specialized in the formulation of cosmetic products, in the heart of Paris.

1998 – Strategic focus of Laboratoire BF International on the product conception and customized formulation using its patented know-hows, for example: alcohol-free perfume (stable dispersion of essential oils in water without conventional surfactant), a first in the perfume industry.

1998-2000 – First Premium clients for strategic products launches : derivatives of scented lines, skincare lines…

2009 – Development of the full service offer :

  • Creation of the Regulatory Department
  • Establishment of the quality service that ensures the application of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Reinforcement of the “project manager” team in charge of supporting our customers in every stage of their projects

2016 – Acquisition of a High-Pressure homogenizer : Laboratoire BF International becomes the first independent laboratory equipped with this technology.

2017  Innovative Award at Cosmetic 360 for its patent on High-Pressure technology

2019 – New organization, reinforcement of teams and acquisition of new laboratory equipment

2020 – Winner of the Jury’s Favourite Formulation Awards at the Cosmet’Agora Exhibition (theme of the formulation contest : “turning 20 years old in 2020”)
